What are the Challenges Faced by the Colombian Tourism Sector in the Post-pandemic Period?

Abstract

It is important to observe the panorama that the tourism sector is going through and had to go through after the period of the pandemic generated by Covid-19 and the great transition of this sector after coming from an accelerated growth throughout the years and a great contribution to the GDP. It is also important to highlight many of the strategies that companies can begin to take in favor of their rehabilitation and how to act before the different circumstances that may arise working together between tourism companies, hotels, restaurants, tour operators and airlines; all of these in partnership with governments and financial institutions to ensure the prosperous reopening and economic revival strengthened with innovation, a more flexible planning, inclusion of social networks and web media, extension of sustainable tourism, recovery of confidence and improvement of communication.
