CLIMATE CHANGE IN GLOBAL MARITIME TRANSPORT
Main Article Content
Abstract
The objective of this article is to analyze the impact of the determining factors of climate change on international maritime transport. A search was conducted of scientific publications registered in WoS and Scopus over the last two decades; subsequently, using bibliometric tools and network analysis, the current structure of knowledge on the subject is presented. As a result, four emerging research trends related to trade and environmental policies are identified: global climate models; adaptation of climate change measures in global maritime transport; the effect of temperature and precipitation on the operation of global maritime transport; and the impact of alternative fuels to mitigate pollution from global maritime transport.
