The notion of participation in the political project of democratic security in Colombia -A approach from the critical analysis of discourse

Abstract

This article expounds some outcomes of the research “The Democratic Security as a Political Project: an analysis on the Perspective of Discourse”, -a study carried out by the
Discourse, Organization, and Political Group, ascribed to the Faculty of communication in the University of Medellin. The article discloses the “ideological bases that support
the notion of civic participation” within the context of the Democratic Security Project: the axis of Alvaro Uribe Velez’s administration in Colombia (2002-2006).
