Abstract

The present paper seeks to interpretively analyze the feasibility and legal reasonableness of institutions or organizations in Colombia acting as conscientious objectors. It is organized in four sections or main themes: (i) contributions to the discussion about institutional conscience objection; (ii) organizations and institutions as subjects of fundamental rights; (iii) conscience objection as a fundamental right; and (iv) the central question: do organizations and institutions have the right to the conscientious objection as a fundamental right? The reason for this journey is to answer such question, the other major themes (i, ii and iiii) are the necessary context, the path that must be traveled.
