Abstract
The report is the principal genre of journalism, a deposit of multiple possibilities that combines different narrative forms ranging from journalism to art forms such as literature, film, essay, etc. It is a genre that, like the novel, has a totalizing intent; it aims to resolve all questions of history and thus performs a thorough investigation, making it an excellent reference source for researchers and a way to leave testimony, a historical trace.
