Movie and industry in Colombia, toward a question status

Abstract
This text is part of the results of the research: Cultural Industries as a Research Field for Universidad de Medellin Communication School. The research was divided in four topics: television, movie, advertising and web. However, this article only corresponds to cinematographic cultural industrial topic in Colombia, from which, four research categoriesresulted: 1) Colombian cinema and legislation, 2) Cinema, consumption, and audience, 3) Industry, cinema, and Identity, 4) Colombian Cinemaand Marketing. With these research topics, a panorama of researches carried out in this field in Colombia, from the year 2008 to the first semester of 2011, is provided.
