Abstract

In this article, a review of how Co­lombian legislation has been for higher education in Colombia is made. (Law 30, 1992 as a main document, jointly with laws 115, 1994. and 1128, 2008, Decree 1295, 2010) and which have been the qua­lity parameters imposed on Colombian higher education. Likewise, it is indicated which the new education guidelines will be, the current status of education debate for 'postconflict' Colombia and data on competitiveness of national higher educa­tion in relation to international standards, showing a comparison between these policies and national standards related to quality theories of different international organizations
