Access to Dispute Settlement in the WTO: Obstacles for Developing Countries

Abstract

This article describes the main contributions of specialized literature about the most important obstacles and how they emerge to prevent developing countries from having access to the WTO Dispute Settlement System. The article establishes
how such obstacles emerge for the Colombian case, bearing in mind that this country has not successfully filed any case before this international organization up to date.
