Abstract
El libro tiene como propósito abordar el estudio de la derecha y la izquierda como problema de investigación, en términos de aproximarse a un hilo conductor que dé cuenta de cómo se concebían, representaban e identificaban la izquierda y la derecha en las agrupaciones políticas que interactuaron en las décadas de los años veinte y treinta del siglo XX en Colombia. El texto presenta una caracterización histórica de cada una de estas tendencias a partir de sus múltiples expresiones, mediante la realización de un doble trabajo: por un lado, establecer los elementos constitutivos de cada una de ellas, y por otro, los puntos de convergencia o divergencia
