El libro sobre La acción de repetición es un producto del Grupo de Investigaciones Jurídicas de la Universidad de Medellín, de una investigación terminada en el 2006 sobre la responsabilidad de los jueces. El texto aborda el álgido tema de una acción constitucional, que a pesar de tener más de 10 años de existencia legal, no logra conseguir los resultados para los cuales fue creada por la Constitución de 1991 (artículo 90).
