Abstract

In this occasion, in its 14th edition, the journal offer to the reader public a series of articles, translations, reviews and interviews with a wide arrange of themes going from human rights, high education, consciousness objection, multimodal tools for English language high education, discontinuous texts in school didactics, constitutionality of work laws, the pragmatic component of reading in the school context, the corporal condition of human existences, the brain and its complexity and its link with neurosciences, the life and work of the artist Marta Elena Vélez up to a presentation of the novel Los ejércitos and of the book Estructura constitucional del Estado colombiano. In the end, this number offers a series of reflections about the relation between art, biology, and nature within the sheets from Kunstformen der Natur, published in 1904 by Ernst Haeckel. Some of the sheets were selected for illustrating this issue of the journal.
